Hi again!

A few weeks ago, I went to SacAnime with Gloria.

I am sure a lot of you know this because it appears that I have gained several followers from her blog haha. So hello! I'm Mie. I don't post often, and what I do post sounds like I am talking to myself, but if you're okay with that, thanks for following me! ヾ(^ ^)ゞ

If you don't know what it is, it's this urban legend created online. There's a good youtube series about it called Marble Hornets. I've only watched part of it because of my short attention span, but I hear it's very good if you like horror!
He gave me a tag that says "Found you" on one side and "Can't Escape!" on the other. Really cool~

 Gloria and I went to visit a chocolate shop when we got bored of the convention.

 I got a salted caramel macaron. It was really good and very salty.

I wanted to see this in person.

Later on, the line was very short and there were about 5 people, so I stepped into line. The moment I did, a staffer went up to me and started to yell that I was cutting and had to wait with the rest of the line... while pointing out the door an entire hallway away, where people were lining up outdoors, saying that's where the rest of the line was. How could anyone have known?! 

Because I'd literally just taken a step into line, I just continued to walk as if I hadn't been lining up at all... but he kept yelling after me, "OR YOU COULD JUST KEEP WALKING, THAT'S FINE TOO."

We ended up in the dealer's room later! I found these giant Kuragehime plushies. So cute!! My hand for size reference :D

The second day we didn't dress up and instead explored Sacramento a bit and found this really cute yogurt shop!

 Totally reminded me of the kind of shops you see in uljjang photos!

Hello hello~
This is a delayed New Years' post.


I don't have resolutions because I think it is a strange thing to wait for a new year to want to change something... if you want to change something, shouldn't you just start right away? I don't see what a new calendar year has to do with it.

But anyway, on New Years' Eve, I went to have tea with some high school friends.

The fun thing about the place we went to is that in the back, they have a large bathtub full of vintage hats for you to wear!

At the tea place, I ordered a holiday tea set, so it comes with tea, a scone, and other tea-time pastries. I was pretty full at the end, so I think it was good o(^^o)

I chose belgian chocolate tea, because the waitress there (can you really call them waitresses? It doesn't seem fancy enough) recommended it. But it wasn't very good at all. It tasted like hot water with a vague chocolate taste.

They had amazing blueberry scones though. SOOO GOOD ヽ( ゜Q ゜ )ノ

The top things were cucumber sandwiches. The bottom things were bread with some kind of cheese, and some kind of quiche.
I tried to put the flower in my hair, but it fell off.

it feels kind of empty without a drawing, so I'll share this:

I've been seeing a lot of monochromatic bloody schoolgirls on tumblr, and I wanted to draw one too.

Unfortunately the appeal is lost on me... it was kinda fun to draw though, so I'll probably draw more while wondering why I'm doing it and why I lead such a sad and meaningless life.

Ahaha... I'm so bad at blogging.

I thought, "I WLL BLOG MORE NOW THAT I AM ON BREAK," but really, over the past two days... one of the days I managed to sleep for 16 hours. And then later I realized I hadn't eaten for 36 hours because I hadn't been hungry.

Although on the list of things I forget, I also forget to breathe sometimes. If I am thinking about something or if I am reading something interesting, I guess my automatic breathing stops.

And then I have to take a big breath and people hear and ask, "Mie why are you sad?" And I have to explain that I am not sad, I was just very interested in something.

Woe is the life of someone who forgets to eat and breathe.

Recently I have been watching this show called Un-Go, which has no real plot but has this chara named Inga who I feel compelled to call mah bby because he is so freaking cute and agjkfsdlds

I'm alive.

The following are photos from a failed attempt at a circle lens review. I'll try again... sometime.

To be honest, I sort of hate makeup. It looks nice but I feel like I can't do anything.

Anyway I also got a new camera, which I took these pictures with! I kind of hate it.

my new camera makes me look really weird. And one of my false lashes is sticking funny. I suck at this.

Hello!

I said I was going to write more, so I will!

School started today, and it was very boring as usual. I only had one class, something about Chinese in America, which is a subject I've never been interested in. Tomorrow I have three English classes, so hopefully that will be more interesting than ~*my heritage*~.

Real life aside though, I thought I would share some photos of my pastel-box, and the new additions it has gained over the summer.

First! What is my pastel box?

This is my pastel box!

Alas, it is not very pastel, even though it is very cute.

However, the insides are pastel!

It's where all my fairy-kei, pastel, glittery sparkly things go, and I swear it holds more than it looks like!

And the new additions!

A super glittery plastic pink bow necklace from Paris Kids! It's so-- kira-kira-blingy-sparkly. You can even see one of the stones has a lensflare-y effect, and the plastic is filled with glitter too! 

This I made myself. You can probably tell because the part where the ribbon wraps around is right dead center at the front D; 

I'm not very talented at crafts.

I think I'll stick some other thing like a gigantic button or star onto it later, or maybe re-wrap it...

Lastly, these pink and lavender wristcuffs from Angelic Pretty! I really wish the color was showing up better instead of it looking like a mass of bleeding off-pink, but it's really very distinctively lavender and pink in real life!

Now that that's done, I feel like most people would start talking more about their personal lives here.

Unfortunately, my existence seems to revolve around:

a) shopping

or

b) school.

And we have covered both of those things in this post, so I will return to studying procrastination. :D I am a very good student.
